Our Manifesto
We design our systems for lawyers' ethical obligations first.
Every tech feature or service that we build supports compliance with professional responsibility rules—from client confidentiality and conflict checks to competence requirements and fee arrangements. Technology should make it easier, not harder, for lawyers to meet their duties to clients and the profession.
Confidentiality and privilege aren't features, they're foundational.
Lawyers are bound by sacrosanct obligations to protect client information, preserve attorney-client privilege and retain data for when clients need it. Manifest’s operating system is designed with these duties as non-negotiable requirements, not afterthoughts, because a breach of confidentiality isn't just a business problem, it's an ethical violation.
Manifest OS preserves lawyer independence and professional judgment.
Technology can inform decisions but cannot make them. Manifest OS's tools enhance lawyers' ability to exercise independent professional judgment while ensuring they maintain supervisory authority over work product, as required by the Rules of Professional Conduct wherever lawyers we support are located.
